About the FGS

The Forum for Global Studies (FGS) is a rising multi-disciplinary think tank that seeks to provide high-quality academic analyses, research, and training on a variety of disciplines throughout the Social Sciences and sets itself as a globally oriented interdisciplinary institute with robust networks throughout the world such as King’s College London, Columbia University, Minnesota University, IIT Bombay, Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, and St Petersburg State University.  We also organize a range of webinars in the form of roundtable discussions, global lecture series, podcasts, and exclusive interviews with prominent academicians and policy makers around the world.  FGS has also recently launched its own monthly international peer-reviewed journal called the Journal of Geo-economic Analysis

 

About the Programme

We now seek to establish a series of short workshops for students and researchers who would be interested in research methodology, how to publish research papers, theory & practice, etc. The upcoming workshop will have the theme of Research and Publication, which will serve as an important guide for students, researchers, and faculty members who wish to enhance their research capabilities. FGS will conduct a three-day workshop on Research and Publication in partnership with renowned academicians around the world. The workshop aims to help participants develop effective research and planning skills, enhance their quality in writing, and endeavour towards publishing their work in respected research centres, news portals, peer-reviewed journals, and book projects.  The structure of the workshop is divided as follows:
